I saw in the newspaper that past users of Midwest Electric would be receiving a patronage capital payment. I moved a year ago to Van Wert and I did not know if this meant I would receive a payment and if so if you have my new address.

I recently aquired a kill a watt meter and was looking at my bill to calcutate the cost of my elctricity. Do I multiply the kwh used by the power cost Adj/kwh? It doesnt seem to add up. I'm assuming adjustments are made. I want to be sure i am calculating correctly when I use this device. What does the term kWh multiplier mean on my bill? If you could help me I would appreciate it. Thank you

I have a question regarding an issue apparently involving electricity/rates, but I am not sure it involves Midwest Electric or not. Perhaps you could enlighten me. At the voting booth yesterday, I first learned of something known as an "Electricity Aggregation Levy" for Allen County. I see in today's newspaper that the levy passed. What is this for, who does it affect, and how? I do not recall any information being published prior to election day. Thank you.

It is posted on your website that if you want information regarding power outage updates, we are to "like" you on Facebook. First of all, if I have a power outage, more than likely, I do not have electricity to operate my computer. Secondly, not everyone has Facebook - or cares to participate in social networking. Finally, some customers may not even have access to a computer. In those situations, it would be nice if there was a telephone recording with outage updates or another alternative

Why would you not put some form of communication on your web site regarding progress, food spoilage, estimated time of service, water in lines, toilets, or any other pertinent info.I called you phone and there was a standard recording. I called st marys police and they knew nothing on any of this either.

2 years ago we received a check for the capital credits (we had Midwest Electric from 1994 through 1999). Someone had noticed that we were on a list to receive them and didn't have an updated address for us - so they provided Midwest with our updated address - but we did not receive any capital credits for last year nor this year (and have heard that others have) -and we are still at the address provided - are we due some capital credits?? THANK YOU!
