Power Outage Map Now On-line

Midwest Electric's public website now has a power outage map displaying information on the status of current power outages.

Members have told us that while they appreciate our power reliability and timely response to outages, they felt we lacked in communicating with them about power outages. The web outage map improves our outage communications. If you don't have power at home, you can access the map from a computer at work or a friend or relative's house.

The Power Outage Map icon and link are on our home page as well as all inside pages. You can view outages by township, county, or zip code. While we chose to keep the public information limited, more details on current and past outages can be accessed through our e-bill page.

Visit midwestrec.com and click on the Power Outage Map icon on any page to view the current power outages by county, township or zip code. For more specific information, log-in to your electric account online to view the power outage status of your account(s) as well as outage history details. Information available includes the dates and times of current and past outages, the length of the outages, the cause of the outages, the number of members affected, and more.

Your individual outage details are located on our e-bill site, at Review My Outage Info. If you have not yet created a log-in to our e-bill site, it's quick and easy. Simply click on the "Access My Account" link or the "Billpay & Meter Reading" icon on our website and follow the instructions.
