Digging into underground electric lines can be expensive and can
cause serious harm or even death. Anyone planning to dig in our service
area should be aware of the lines and take proper action before digging
begins.
We participate in the Ohio Utility Protection Service (OUPS), an
organization that assists developers, contractors, homeowners and others
in locating underground utility lines before digging. They should be
contacted at least two business days before digging begins. They will
notify the utilities listed in that area and inform you which utility
