VOTING CLOSES SEPT. 18.
Midwest Electric wants to honor farmers and agricultural businesses whose hard work, strong ethics, and dedication deserve kudos. The finalists who were nominated are included below. Please vote for the farmer you feel most deserves to be "Farm Famous."
The grand prize winner will receive a plaque, a feature story in our magazine, and a $100 bill credit.
Here's a special tribute to each farmer nominated in the community for our Farm Famous Program:
🚜 Norman Heidelbaugh, Spencerville
"Norm lives and works in and around Spencerville, Ohio. He has been a farmer of hogs and corn and wheat for more years than we all care to admit. Norm is a great friend to everyone and will always lend a hand when you are in need."
🚜 Mike Smith, Wapakoneta
"My son used to work for a farmer named Mike Smith, married to Kathleen, son of Paul and Judy Smith. He has well over 100+ dairy cows and close to 1000 acres of land he farms. We just love his family. They are amazing! Rarely will you see him in the fields on a Sunday - Who can say that?? Not too many. I’d love to see him be recognized for all his hard work."
🚜 Dwayne and Rita Krouskop, Spencerville
"They raise cows, goats, chickens, ducks, and their newest addition a pony. They also grow and bale hay. Their new pony, Jasmine, is a hit with their granddaughter, Norabelle Sharp."
